Although the morning went as planned, I am extremely disappointed with this excursion. I was promised an unforgettable experience with a stop for lunch at the lovely Crystal Bay!!! I didn’t get to see Crystal Bay, neither for lunch nor for enjoying an hour of swimming!!!Not only did we never set foot in Crystal Bay, but no clear explanation was given to me about this change of itinerary. Instead, at 2:20 p.m., I was already on my way back…. I took a photo of my return boat ticket!!! 3:20 p.m., back at the departure port as evidenced by my attached photo. In summary, a waste of time and money, and a huge disappointment for what was supposed to be an unforgettable. It’s shameful to take us for fools.Additionally, on the boat, we’re pressured to buy Bintang beer. This morning, I managed to avoid it, but I witnessed a tourist being forced to buy a beer. On the way back, they didn’t ask if I wanted a drink; the guy just said, ‘Bintang with or without lemon ? Also, all the drivers on the island seem obsessed with making us leave a review in their presence, insisting that we give them a good rating… because if we leave a bad one, they risk losing their job! They should focus on doing their job conscientiously, and then they won’t have to worry about losing it!
Arrived 20 minutes before our ride and they couldn’t find our booking. Was told to sit down while they sorted. 5 minutes before we were meant to ride, I asked if all was OK. Again told to sit down and that someone would come and get us. 30 minutes later (after we should have been on our ride already), I asked again what was happening and got the same response. A short time later, someone came over and gave me a waiver to sign and list my medical conditions, emergency contact, and address back home. We were a party of 3 friends with different details and medical stuff. We asked for more forms and was told no, just complete one form under the name of who booked. We explained that we had different information and conditions to list and was again told just the one form in the booking person’s details. We filled it out and waited. By this time, our driver had approached them and asked if everyone was OK and was dismissed. I waited 5 more minutes and went back to the desk. By this stage, it was 36 minutes after we should have been on our ride. At this stage the person informed me our booking was at 1pm, 2 hours after our booked start time. I again showed our tickets and reiterated we were booked for 11am. They advised their system was showing 1pm and we would be riding then. I was frustrated that no one had told us this sooner after sitting around for so long. I explained that we had other bookings we needed to make in the day, and as the error wasn’t mine, I requested a full refund. It was then that they apologised and were able to get us on the tour. The track itself wasn’t great and not much scenary, especially comparing it to the awesome experience I had ATV riding at KUBER. We ended up cutting our ride short. Won’t be booking here again or recommending. Not the bali hospitality you expect. I don’t know how long we would have been sat waiting before someone told us what was going on.
So already the quad bike service lasts barely an hour. I had booked a tandem we ended up 2 on a quad one place … horrible I have bruises on my thighs because against the quad barrier. No stops planned to admire the landscape, not possible to faore normal photos because they charge them at the exit. Meal is a canteen …to flee for the Award
I found this the least enjoyable of the quad bike operators in Bali. Very busy, with a smooth operation and great external facilities such as change rooms, showers, restaurant etc.In regards to the quad biking though, expect to drive on pretty boring trails between mud pits and photo opportunities.Due to the large group sizes, we spent a good 20-30 minutes sitting there waiting for quad bikes to be repaired or started.
They said they picked us up at 6:30 (hotel 20 minutes from the port), and arrived at 6:00, in a hurry on both sides clear. We arrive at the port at 6:30 after parking and walking and we are put in a cafeteria, which we wait a little. We pay 100p/p and get the ferry ticket and a sticker. And there we waited until 8:50 which takes us to the ferry entrance. Hundreds of people passed, and those of this company the last. Very badly organized. We started with the snorkel, 4 points to see seabed with little animals, but we had bad weather and swell. Boat staff fine. We were going to take a lot of pictures in the water, we only have 5 and 1 video in which not one fish comes out. When we get back to port they take us to the club where we had to sign up for insurance, we were supposed to shower and change, but we don’t… give us a towel and keep walking. To the car. Half an hour later we end up in a restaurant and we can shower there. Closed menu, to choose between several dishes and drink, was very delicious but we waited longer for what we had paid. We started heading to see the beaches with our Guide, who was fantastic. The only good thing we had on the field trip was him. It took us on Top-rated roads, Top-rated points to see and take pictures, plus it made us a very nice report. He walked us to the port, got on the ferry with us and took us personally to the taxi. I can only recommend the Guide, the rest has been very bad experience for an exorbitant price. I don’t recommend it to anyone
