Reliable, friendly, patient and a safe driver.
Driver picked us from the airport. We proceeded with a day tour after leaving the airport as planned. Driver(Sandi) helped to plan the itinerary for the day, with option for us to change or rearrange as it suits us.
We found him to be very accommodating and flexible. He has good knowledge of Bali, its people and culture.
His prices are reasonable too. The car is always clean and in good condition.
Most importantly , I was very impressed by his driving on the Bali roads which could be very busy and chaotic at the best of time He was patient on the roads and did not took any risky overtaking or maneuvers . I felt safe in his car and was able to soak in the beautiful landscapes.
This was our first trip to Bali and Sandi helped to make it a pleasant experience.

I visited Bali wit my elderly mother about a month ago and was referred to BaliVentur by friends. Driver Ketut was fantastic. He really helped me in regards to tailoring our sightseeing to something that was interesting and recreational for us but in particular took into account my Mum’s physical limitations. He really looked after us well and ensured our holiday was safe and enjoyable. His rates for driving us around all day were more than reasonable and he thoughtfully stocked the car with plenty of clean cold drinking water. He never imposed on our time with each other and even when we tried to encourage him to eat with us at various restaurants he would politely decline but was always waiting for us whenever we had finished what we were doing. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I would happily recommend the services of this warm hearted, kind and very helpful man.

Driver Dewa very knowledgeable about Bali and its places of interests. On the road, he would also highlight a cultural event or item and share its meaning with us, allowing us to discover Bali through a local (and not through some commercialised touristy guide!)
He was prompt in responding and came up with a proposal according to our needs and where we stayed. He was also flexible and patient in changing the programme to incorporate our inputs and according to how tired we were!
His vehicle was very clean (and cleaned on a daily basis). It looked pretty new and well maintained. I think he has a scent in the car as well. These, coupled with his cheerful disposition, made our travel even more pleasant.
While some guides like to continue talking and talking and talking non-stop, Dewa was sensitive to our needs, which I really appreciated. Travel can be very draining and we had our peaceful naps/rests in the car.

My wife and I recently visited Bali after a 28 year absence, and arranged beforehand to have Ketut meet us at the airport and be our driver for a week. It was a wonderful decision. Ketut was waiting for us, and for the rest of our stay was prompt, reliable, and a VERY safe, competent driver with a clean, perfectly maintained Toyota.
After a long absence from Bali, I was concerned that the friendly, welcoming culture of this wonderful island might have been swamped by runaway tourism and development, but to our delight, Ketut himself embodies that culture and its values. He is warm, quick to smile, and very knowledgeable about the whole island. He enjoyed sharing his culture and answered our constant questions perceptively (and in good English). In fact, our appreciation of Bali’s unique culture would have been sadly shallow without the chance to share that culture through his thoughtfulness, patience, and willingness to share.
Pricing is very reasonable, and we felt like royalty having him waiting in the air conditioned car after a leisurely breakfast at our Ubud hotel, ready to be our guide – and friend – until he dropped us off after dinner, often at a restaurant he recommended.
When we return to Bali we will absolutely rely on him again, and we unhesitatingly recommend him to anyone looking for a delightful, safe and reliable way to maximize their time in this paradise.
