There are two parts to this tour – the actual sights, what you see, and the business end/customer service.
The sights – lovely most of them. I visited Tanah Lot Temple, Taman Ayun Temple, Ulan Danu Temple, Handara Gate, a luwak coffee farm.
The TEMPLES were lovely, each a little different.
Handara GATE is a pure Instagram trap – you arrive, receive a number and wait your turn to take a photo at the Gate. If that is what you are after, you will have a lovely time.
The COFFEE farm is highly questionable. I learnt this too late ..
1, the farm claims the civets that are kept in cages are free to roam at night and voluntarily come to the cage in the morning where they sleep through the day, on display for visitors. A little research will teach you that approximately 16 farms around Bali keep civets in cages and force-feed them coffee beans, which has a negative effect on their health since their natural diet of coffee and fruits is compromised. It also significantly decreases the potency of the coffee, depriving it of its well known benefits.
2, too many times the coffee that is labeled as “luwak coffee” is simply replaced by “regular Bali coffee” so you end up paying premium for something you can buy at a gas station.
I specifically asked for any proof that the farm that was chosen for this tour has been verified for authenticity, and that the coffee is sourced ethically, i was told “the farm has a business license”. Uhmm.. great, i guess if that is the only verification, my concerns were justified. DO NOT BUY their products. (Or at least do a Google search on the business before buying..)
The business side – first off, this tour is not “design your own itinerary”, it is a “pick one of the 4 packages” tour. To a point I understand that not everything is possible, given the traffic on the island and the narrow windy roads, the travel between places takes longer than google might suggest. The description should be edited to set the correct expectations. The tour still is on your time and you can still modify the selected package, within reason, which is nice. Just don’t expect to select “anything” on the advertised list.
I booked this tour last minute and am thankful to both the owner and the driver for making it happen at such short notice. They both showed a desire to make the tour enjoyable.
Sadly, the communication between the owner and the driver is non-existent. There was a misunderstanding after misunderstanding, and 3 days after the tour I am being harassed about an issue due to their lack of communication and lack of accountability.
Darma was our driver for the day and he told us a lot about the balinese culture. He took us to several nice places and we spent a nice time with some memorable moments. Thank you!
The ride for two days tour in Bali with Kadek was good as his driving skill is excellent and took us to places as planned and introduced good restaurants for meals.
It was a fun tour only in Bali.

It was a long and difficult yet enjoyable experience until late at night.
Kadek took amazing pictures, took us to the best places, and had the best recommendations. He was very friendly and accommodating. He suggested the best places to visit in the time we had and we visited everything we want to see in one day so it was the best experience we’ve had.
Using this Bali transport service made our holiday stress free. Driver Wayan was always smiling and drove carefully. He adjusted the itinerary based on traffic and our energy level. We felt safe and well looked after during the entire custom tour.
We booked Baliventur for a day tour and felt disappointed. The driver showed up late without notice and did not talk much during the drive. His limited English made communication hard, and the tour felt rushed.
The transport service from Baliventur was okay overall. The driver drove safely but did not communicate much and appeared rushed. The experience met our basic expectations, but nothing more.
Baliventur’s transport service did not meet our expectations. The driver was late, quiet, and difficult to communicate with. He rushed us through the itinerary and did not explain anything.
We booked Baliventur for Bali transport and found the service to be average. The driver was quiet and his English was limited, which made communication difficult. He also seemed in a hurry throughout the day.
