We had an amazing day with Ma-de ! He took us early in the morning to see hidden waterfalls where we were alone !!! We in total saw 3 waterfalls followed by a temple and the rice terraces . Ma-de was incredibly knowledgable and went the extra mile to give us a unique experience . 100/10 recommend 🙂
I travelled solo to Nusa Penida, and my guide was Uncle Derma. He was very patient and kind and also gave me the knowledge about the island and the places.
I would recommend everyone to go through Uncle Derma as he will take care of you and you don’t have to plan anything.

We had a great time, saw some absolutely unreal scenery, took some great photos and our tour guide, Desna was absolutely lovely, showed us everything, made sure to give us insider tips, always ensured our comfortability, and catered to our needs. We saw beautiful waterfalls and amazing sights as well, such as Heavens Gate. All thanks to him, we made it to our destination at perfect times, he was efficient and we had little to no queues to wait for photos. He waited for us and let us take our time with sightseeing as well. Thank you Desna!
I think touring is cheaper. In Indonesia, the only way to get around is by taxi, so I think the tour is more convenient because it takes you all the way around
