We had an amazing experience with our tour guide in Ubud, Agus Gass. From start to finish he was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to get along with. Agus knew all the best spots, shared interesting local history and culture, and was always happy to answer questions or adjust the tour to suit what we wanted to do.

We had the most amazing day exploring Ubud with our guide Wah Ko, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He took us around all the highlights, including beautiful waterfalls, the water temple, coffee tasting, the swing, and more — and the whole day was perfectly paced and stress-free.

To był dla nas naprawdę bardzo przyjemnie spędzony dzień i w dużej mierze zawdzięczamy go naszemu przewodnikowi, Panu Lewerowi. Był niezwykle uprzejmy, kulturalny i bardzo sympatyczny, a rozmowa z nim przychodziła zupełnie naturalnie, co od razu stworzyło świetną atmosferę.
Jechał spokojnie i bezpiecznie, pokazał nam najważniejsze miejsca i przez cały czas dbając o to, żebyśmy czuli się komfortowo i bez pośpiechu. Dzięki niemu cały dzień minął bardzo miło i bez stresu.
Z czystym sumieniem polecamy tę wycieczkę, a szczególnie z Panem Lewerem jako przewodnikiem — to było naprawdę bardzo dobre doświadczenie.
We had a wonderful day on this tour and a big part of it was thanks to our guide, Mr. Lewer. He was very polite, kind and professional, and it was genuinely pleasant to spend the whole day with him.

A super day out with Sunarta, as my driver and guide. Sunarta is an excellent driver and took me to all places on the tour. It was a very enjoyable experience, the itinerary was well organised and the places chosen very beautiful. There was not too much crowd and that made it even better. A very pleasant experience and highly recommended.
The Monkey Forest was great, and the ATV ride is absolutely worth the effort — it was a lot of fun.
My driver was a bit rushed at times, but he was knowledgeable, took us around the forest, and was good overall.
One important warning regarding the ATV tour: I booked a tandem ride so my daughter and I could ride together. Booking through this site only provides a 250cc tandem ATV (the same engine size as the solo bikes), with a combined weight limit of 168kg. While the ATV center does have 450cc and 850cc bikes available, there is no way to book these through this website (or any other that I could find).
If you are close to or over the weight limit, you will be charged an additional fee on the day to upgrade to a 450cc bike — despite them having plenty available. In our case, we were quoted 500,000 IDR, which is almost 25% extra on top of the total tour price. For comparison, their photo package costs only 400,000 IDR, so the upgrade fee felt excessive.
The upside is that the 450cc ATVs are significantly better than the 250cc models, and I would recommend negotiating an upgrade if you are a confident and experienced rider. I had already done a solo tour on the same track a few weeks earlier using the 250cc bikes, and they tend to stall, flood, and break down fairly often — although the guides are quick to swap them out during the tour.
Despite the frustration of the unexpected upgrade cost, the ATV track itself is excellent and the guides are outstanding. The front desk experience, however, could definitely be improved.
