Had an exciting ride with the tour group. The terrain was challenging but they gave u very good instructions how to handle the atv. Be prepared to get dirty! But definetly worth the trip and $$.
Bali by Quad was the best tour that me and my mates did while on schoolies. Although only 2 out of the 6 of us had ridden a Quad before the staff ensured that all of us felt comfortable and safe riding by our selves.
We were lucky enough to go on a day where it had poured rain the night before so the track was covered with water and mud, this mad the whole trip even better as the girls who don’t usually get dirty were covered in mud and absolutely loving it.
The price was so decent as we got a full on 3 course lunch as well as transfers to and from the hotel 🙂
The Staff were great and helped everyone out if they did not feel comfortable in doing a certain part of the course. But as well as being helpful they were all up for cracking jokes and joined us when we were paying each other out for running into walls and stuff like that 😀
One thing i will say is that if you really want a awesome experience tell them you want to do the extreme course, but only if you feel comfortable on the Quad as there are some massive drops and steep hills to go up and down 🙂
Also just know that the Automatic Quads struggle up some hills and that it is a better experience if you go on a manual Quad as they get up all hills quite easily without the staff having to help you get up them.
Overall the best thing to do as it does not matter how experienced you are everyone will have a great time and the staff ensure this is the case 🙂
After deciding on the morning of, we were picked up by taxi at 12 from ubud. We thought it was just outside ubud but after a scenic hour or so drive, we arrived. We didn’t actually realise lunch was included also, but course after course came out which was very tasty.got our Wellies on and we were OFF. We did a tandem as the wife wasn’t to sure if she would be happy riding one, which actually worked well. There was actually just a couple of us doing the tour today, but then you have 5 guys accompany you, which seemed like over kill… At first. After a leisurely initial start we were off into the hillside and off road on small tracks taking in the views. We stopped for abit of a break in the middle of rice fields being overlooked by the mountain and views down the valley, with traditional Local Bali coffee. After an educational 30 mins understanding how Bali life works and everyone exists so happily we were off straight down a steep decent and into rivers… awesome. I’d riden quads quite abit before, but this was testing riding, and had a permanent grin on as we climbed and descended.
Returning to the centre after a good 1.5 -2hrs, we decided to take the oppourtunity to go on and see tamah lot and the sunset after agreeing with our taxi driver alittle extra. We got there in 45 mins and intime for sunset which was a really spectacle and will be a memorable moment.
A great day excursion which I would recommend if your looking for a cultural experience, with adrenalin fun thrown in. In total it cost us about £110 with the tamah lot addition, which to me was very good value.
Bali by Quad was such a fun experience.
We chose this particular quad bike company as it was an adrenaline circuit. We drove through the village first but spent most of the ride in forests.
You get a free lunch and transport to and from provided, for about $60 per person, which is definitely worth it!
My partner and I did experienced this with my brother, our friends and my dad and we all loved it and would definitely recommend it for anyone.
The staff were very friendly and seemed to have a lot of fun too!

We found Bali by Quad on Trip Advisor, and we are very glad that we did! This was so much fun – would definitely recommend it.
My boyfriend and I had a private tour [we hadn’t arranged this…the others that were supposed to be in our group were running 45mins late, so they took just the two of us]. We had 3x staff come with us [on the one ATV], one was driving/guiding us, one got off to take photos, and the other got off to help in any difficult spots [which was good, coz I nearly came off the track a couple of times!! haha!].
Driving the ATVs was loads of fun. The track is excellent – the right mix of adventure and scenery.
When we finished, a delicious Balinese lunch was served overlooking the ricefields. Our photos were put on a mini laptop for us to view while we ate – there were loads of great shots that really captured the experience.
You can either log on to the website and buy the photos for about US$1 each, or they can put all of your photos onto disc [while you’re eating lunch] for about 200,000Rp [approx US$20]…we thought it was well worth it. There was no way we would have been able to get the shots that they did, or as many!!
Overall this was an awesome experience! Excellent fun/adventure, great service, value for money, delicious food and just a really great way to see Bali 🙂 The highligh of our trip for my boyfriend [and very high up there for me too!!].
Les rizières, on les photographie du bord de la route. Avec Bali by quad ce sont les gens de la région qui vous guident avec une vrai envie de partager. On découvre des sources d’eau chaude, les rizières, la forêt, les maisons balinaises, tout en s’amusant en faisant du quad. Nous avons vraiment passé un très bon moment alors que nous étions débutants en quad.
En visite à bali, nous avons été tenté par cette offre originale, une viste de Bali en Quad. Une journée mémorable. Avec un guide, nous sommes partis en famille sur des quads, faciles à conduire. Une visite dans des paysages inoubliables, à travers les rizières, à la rencontre des habitants d’une extrèmes gentillesses. Avec un arrêt au ANouk’s Rice restaurant permettant de découvrir la vraie cuisine locale. De plus cete journée en quad permet de soutenir les enfants du village. Que dire de plus. N’hésitez pas si vous en avez l’occasion, vous ne le regretterez pas.
This was one of our most memorable adventures while in Bali! We’d recommend it to everyone. The staff was outstanding. They were attentive, personable, informative, and lots of fun. The tour exceeded out expectations. It was sporty, safe, and well balanced with periodic stops to enjoy the local unique cultural experience.
C’était pour ma part ma première expérience en Quad et je pense vraiment que tous les éléments sont rassemblés pour que ce soit et reste la meilleur! Quelques passages extrêmes (mais à la porté de tout conducteur) entre les rizières en terrasse, le paysage typique de l’île de Bali! En plus, au milieu du trajet, il y a un petit arrêt organisé pour tremper ses pieds, ou tout le corps, dans une source chaude, quoi de mieux!
Donc si vous aimez avoir le coeur qui bat à toute vitesse grâce à des sensations fort et/ou de paysages inoubliables, cette expérience est pour vous!

Je reviens de voyage à Bali. Un conseil: réservez un tour en quad (même si vous êtes en famille !) pour découvrir les rizières balinaises… Paysages idylliques, des gens accueillants, rencontre avec des fermiers… une journée inoubliable !
