My family wanted something unique, so BaliVenture helped us create a custom tour. We visited temples, a hidden beach, and even stopped for local street food. The driver was patient and had great suggestions. Would’ve given 5 stars if the car was a little bigger—we like our space. Still, great job

If you’re looking for an ATV experience that’s equal parts wild and scenic, Alasan Adventure with BaliVenture is where it’s at! The trails took us through lush jungles, hidden rice fields, and mud pits that made me feel like a kid again. Our guide, Kadek, was a legend—he showed us the best routes and even helped me out when I (very gracefully) got stuck in a puddle.

Halfway through, we stopped at this incredible bamboo forest where I took some of my favorite photos from Bali. The ATVs were well-maintained, and the safety briefing was quick but thorough. Bonus points for the complimentary shower facilities—trust me, you’ll need them unless you want to bring half the trail home with you!

Pro tip: Wear clothes you’re okay with ruining and pack a GoPro if you want epic footage. I can’t recommend this enough for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike. Hands down, the most fun I had on my trip!

I was so excited to visit Lempuyang Temple and take that iconic ‘Gates of Heaven’ photo. But guess what? The fog decided to photobomb my entire trip! I could barely see the gates, let alone Mount Agung in the background.

BaliVenture, however, did their part perfectly. The driver was on time, super friendly, and shared great stories about Balinese culture. He even warned me that it might be foggy, but I was feeling optimistic (lesson learned: always listen to your guide).

Despite the weather, the temple itself is beautiful and serene. I’d suggest going early, checking the forecast, and maybe bringing a fog-clearing machine (if that’s a thing).

I’ll definitely give it another try someday—hopefully when the fog takes a holiday!”

“If you’re looking for a real Bali adventure, the North Bali Tour with BaliVenture is an absolute must! Even with torrential rain, this trip was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Let me set the scene: it was pouring like someone turned on a giant faucet, but instead of ruining the day, it made the whole experience feel like a magical movie set in the tropics.

Our first stop was the majestic Taman Ayun Temple. The rain gave the temple an ethereal vibe, with mist rising from the surrounding gardens. I’m pretty sure I looked like a wet noodle in my poncho, but I didn’t care—the beauty of the place made me forget how soaked I was. Our guide, Putu, shared fascinating stories about Balinese culture and history, keeping us entertained and distracted from the rain dripping down our faces.

Next, we drove through winding mountain roads to reach Ulun Danu Beratan Temple. The temple sits on a serene lake, and the rain created ripples that made the whole scene even more picturesque. It was like stepping into a postcard—if postcards came with soggy shoes and a slightly chilly breeze. Despite the weather, the view was breathtaking, and Putu helped us find the best angles for photos (umbrella strategically included).

Lunch was at a cozy local restaurant overlooking the Jatiluwih rice terraces. By this point, the rain had eased to a gentle drizzle, and the terraces glistened like emeralds under the grey sky. The food was delicious, especially the freshly made fried bananas, which I devoured while trying to dry off my camera.

Our final stop was the iconic Tanah Lot Temple. The rain picked up again as we arrived, but honestly, it added to the drama of the crashing waves against the cliffs. Putu suggested we buy a cup of hot ginger tea from a nearby stall, and let me tell you, sipping that warm tea while watching the ocean was pure bliss.

Yes, it rained almost the entire day, but BaliVenture turned what could have been a miserable experience into a fun and unforgettable adventure. They provided umbrellas, towels, and an unwavering sense of humor throughout. My advice? Don’t let the weather deter you from exploring Bali—sometimes, the rain makes it even more magical.

Thank you, BaliVenture, for turning a wet day into one of the best tours I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this to anyone who doesn’t mind a little (or a lot) of rain!”
