Lunch after rafting makes mind restful, people get very much tired after 3 hours of rafting, there are approx 3-4 companies in same place in 5-5 minutes distance, some had 300 stairs at the end. We were there on 21st January 2017, had good fun, free hotel pickup drop was available from company, 300000 IDR per pax, worth it 🙂 we stayed at seminyak ( just for pick up drop info). Lunch and pick up drop included in this price. 4 mtr drop was amazing.

It was my fist time in my life to do white water rafting. It was great, and fun! So Splashy! Even there are some parts are quite shallow because not enough rain the other day (maybe). Our guide was really great and smart. He’s been working in this field for 10 years. Very trustworthy and full of experiences.
The rest areas were also great, small and beautiful waterfalls on the way. Very pretty. This is one of the best place to have white water rafting activity in Bali. Very suitable for kids or a beginner. The last fun thing before the river tour is ending was the sliding on the dam. About 4-5 meters heigh with 45 degree of inclination, but totally safe!
I would recommend this place if you want to try some river adventure in Bali.
PRICE: Via a local tour operator, we managed to get a very good price of 35k per person for our group of 20, which included free bus transfers. This was excellent value, considering that it included a lunch as well as the rafting.
LENGTH: There are also different rafting tours available, and some of these require you to walk down 500 steps at the start, and up a similar amount at the end. Our rafting trip was a longer stretch of river, and as a result we only had a few steps to climb at the start and finish. If it wasn’t for this, some of our group wouldn’t have been able to participate, so we were very glad we asked about this. The rafting portion took about 3 hours, which was longer than some of the other tours. More rafting = more fun!
ADVENTURE: Some in our group had done rafting in Bali previously, but on a different river, and said that their previous experience was much more tame. This river was more adventurous and fun. At one stage it included a thrilling waterfall drop of 3-4 meters!
SCENERY: The scenery we passed through was absolutely beautiful. This alone made the trip worth doing.
LUNCH: Lunch was provided afterwards in the form of a buffet, which included things like fried rice and noodles, prawn crackers. Fairly basic, but fine.
STAFF: Staff were excellent, especially when one of our group was injured after falling onto some rocks. They took very good care of her. This did require a trip to the hospital to get stitches in her hand, but all of this was covered by their insurance.
PHOTOS: You can pay to get a CD with photos taken by the company; we opted to do this, and although they were only taken at a couple of spots, it included the major waterfall drop, with a series of photos for each raft, showing facial expressions – well worth it!
Overall, one of our favourite days in Bali, and a highly recommended experience.

My girlfriend and I had our own car for the day and was a personalised service the whole day and the driver was so friendly and had great knowledge on everything.
The Trek up Mount Batur was hard but very rewarding, a warm jacket and maybe pants are a must for when you are on the top as it is freezing at 1717m! Doesn’t matter what time of year it is. Our tour guide Marty was awesome, he was annoyingly fit and seem to be able to climb up very easily. It took 2hrs to climb up and was around a 4km trek.
The breakfast was soo good, one of then best views!
The white water rafting was such a nice experience after the morning trek, I felt very safe, they give clear instructions and safety is high priority for them.
Easily the best decision I have ever made in Bali!
The river is not overly deep but it has strong current and crystal clear water. And the view along the river is really scenic. The route that we took was a long one about 2.5 hours with a stop at a water fall. With the cool weather, you might have sunburnt at the end of the trip. And if it rains excessively the previous night, the trip might be canceled.
The operator that arranged our rafting trip was BIR. Their head quarter is really fascinating. The place for the briefing is by a mesmerizing pond. Their finishing point is also perfect. It doesn’t require you to climb a million stairs. On the Internet, it is said that they don’t provide a variety of lunch, but our lunch was perfectly served. Fresh and delicious. It’s better for them to pick you up, otherwise it was a bit of a hassle to have your car driven to the finishing point. But the staff at BIR were friendly and helpful. Our guide was a senior pak Wayan who told intersting stories and played jokes as we went rafting.
And there’s a surprise at the end of the trip. You have to slide from a dam on your raft. A but scary but fun part.
My first time rafting, was very hesitant but loved it. Great fun! Guides are very friendly.
And the best part is, you don’t get all the steps at the start or finish.

The only thing I would not recommend is the photo option. 30k rp and they tell you that you get at least 40 photos. Unfortunately thought 35 of them are taken at the same point in the river and you could watch them like a movie. very disappointed in paying money for this. Only got about 2 good photos.
