Safety instructions will be explained by our professional river guide before the hike begins. Ayung River Rafting’s rapid class can be easy classes and suitable for beginners and children. The Ayung river rafting route is 10 kilometers long or will take about 2 hours to complete. Long walk, you will enjoy the rapid Ayung River with scenic nature, beautiful forest, waterfall and creative sculpture on the slope of the river. Our kayak guide suggests some stops to take pictures or buy fresh coconuts. After the rafting is completed, our guide will accompany you to get into the car and drive to our center for shower, lunch and back to the hotel.

We arrived at the starting point of the river at 9:30 and were welcomed into their beautiful eco-friendly structure overlooking the lush Ubud forest. Once we were equipped with the proper gear, we began the walk down to the river which was an easy walk with very long steps (think 500 steps). However, the view during the flight is worth it!
When we got down, our guide proceeded to give us a safety briefing and explain some of the do’s and don’ts of our hike. There were only four people on the boat and we and a Lebanese couple left to start our kayaking trip.

The slopes themselves were very smooth, being of the second class III variety. Overall, we rode at a steady pace and took the time to marvel at the things around us. The scene was great! Deep valleys and waterfalls surrounded us as we made our way through the lush jungle into the heart of Ubud.
There were some dramatic rapids that nearly dropped us, but all in all it was very beautiful, and perfect for those who wanted to enjoy the scenery. The slopes are quiet enough for families with children.
