I was afraid I would fall into the river. What if I fell alone while my friends were still in the boat and I hit a rock when I fell; I know it’s ridiculously scary, but it’s still my fear. In my previous experience of rafting in Bali in 2008 with my friends, it was very fast and challenging. I think they are two different worlds: rafting with boys and rafting with girls. My initial fears were unfounded. It was very calm and slow rafting with the girls, because we asked our guide not to fall or get cold, lol!
