Water temperatures range from lukewarm to slightly hotter, although there is no hot-water pool, and most are generally warmer in the morning. Although some hot springs have the word “natural” in their names, don’t expect a natural environment, because everything here consists of tile pools.

- 01 – 02.00 am. Hotel pickup directly to the starting point (depending on your hotel location)

Our guide was Made Rum and he was so helpful and patient, he even helped us by holding on to my bag and my hands when I was struggling. He also helped my friend find her missing phone and helped her down the hill by holding hands and guiding us. Initially we were nervous however, with him we felt so supported and looked after. It was an amazing trip, we even got drinks and food afterwards and he also took really good photos. We 100% recommend everyone to go with Made Rum, he is an amazing guide.

Beautiful views from the top. Difficult hike uphill and sometimes more tough downhill due to loose gravel. Guide was great. Our driver Santana was on time and gave us a few options for post hike activities. Glad we did it!

I hiked up Mount Batur at sunrise with a wonderful local guide who led us around the volcano, shared detailed stories about the area, and told us fascinating facts about the local culture. It was an unforgettable experience and I highly recommend it
A must-do experience! The steep hike and early start is 100% worth it as the scenery and view is the most stunning and surreal. The monkeys at the top were also a cheeky little highlight. Our guides Madi and Mista were amazing, allowing us to go at our own pace and also make us laugh and have fun. Fabulous!
I completed the sunrise walk with 6 of my friends and we had the absolute best time! Our lovely driver Dewa picked us up right outside of our villa and drove us to the beginning of the hike seamlessly. The hike itself was very challenging but great fun in the dark. We were provided with flashlights for our heads and walking sticks which were a great help. The two gentlemen who accompanied us on the hike were nothing but supportive and uplifting which made the journey up all the more energised and exciting. Once at the top the views were spectacular! Our guides prepared us hot drinks and food for us to enjoy which we did before they took heaps of awesome pictures of us. After journeying down the mountain we got to enjoy some great coffee with a stunning view as a wonderful treat for all our hard work. I could not recommend this activity enough!
